Yeah they clearly don't give a shit at all about actual safety. Those girls wear flip flops on every single outing they go on. Building their house? Flip flops. Walking through mud? Flip flops. I'm sure there are a zillion more awful places they've worn them but I can't think of the specifics.

My brother in law gave us his old stick blender a few months ago (after we'd finished with baby food) and it does an amazing job of getting things pureed really smoothly. I bet it would have been great for baby food.

It could also be because all we knew of Madonna was shocking sex kitten type stuff, but Miley Cyrus was a Disney child star before all her antics. It is hard to watch someone who just a minute ago was adorable little Hannah Montana suddenly humping everything in sight (lol, that makes her sound like a puppy).

I may also be very skewed in how I see them because I LOVE Madonna's music and don't know or care about Miley's. I'm sure that affects how I perceive them. Mainly, I just think Madonna is awesome, individual and a bit of a trailblazer. Miley's antics seem to me to be her trying to get away from her Disney reputation.

Those I actually did enjoy when I finally saw them. Star Wars on the other hand? SO BORING and incredibly dated. I had been dating my husband for a few weeks when he made me watch Star Wars (don't even know which one it was) and we watched for like 5 minutes, then made out the rest of the time (WAY better).

LOL. I always feel like I missed most of the pop culture things people our age love. I was all about Dirty Dancing, Annie and Back to the Future where as my husband of 2 years younger loved Star Wars, Indiana Jones etc (I did not see either of those until my late 20s!!). I blame not having a VCR until high school.

It's so interesting to compare Madonna's sex antics to Miley's. The still photo I say is classy (from my 2013 perspective), but I'm sure the humping the stage in the slutty, but awesome, wedding dress was just as trashy as a lot of people think Miley's VMA performance was (was in the VMA's? I'm tragically uninformed).

Maybe I am too old for it to have been a thing for me (I'm 34)? I don't think I've seen it.
