The first few weeks after my kids were born I was so worried someone would ask me when they were due. Which would have been doubly weird because the answer would have been "Not for a few more months" but they were already in the NICU. Heh. Thankfully no one ever asked me.

That is an awesome plan!!!! Anything to turn it back around on the inappropriate person is a great idea.

It never happened to me. But I did get a fuckton of horribly personal questions from strangers. It all starts with "Do you know what you're having?" "Yes, twin boys." enter the barrage of personal questions that I don't want to answer. I never learned to just say "no" to the first one.

Received a ton of inappropriate questions, yes; but no one ever touched or tried to touch my belly while I was pregnant. A good lack of eye contact keeps a lot of people away. And my friends know me well enough to know not to do that. My doctor, my husband and my mom were the only ones I'm pretty sure. And me,

And named all their kids Jayden!

All I know is what the NICU doctors and nurses told me when my kids were born early. This website goes along with what they said, though I suppose I could be misinterpreting it as I haven't researched it or anything.

I agree about pop culture and responsibility. Soaps are just notoriously awful in how they deal with any kind of rape. They jump to rape storylines WAY too often and rarely treat them seriously or for the life affecting events that rapes can be for a man or a woman. They talk about rape too much and with not enough

LOL I haven't ever really watched Days (here and there but never long enough to get into it), but that story is so famous I might need to watch the crazier bits on You Tube.

Eh, soaps are awesome in their crazy, insane story telling. Devil possession, time travel, back from the dead, cremated and back from the dead, evil twin, alien, there's basically nothing that's too out there for a soap.

It looks like instead of the "possessed by the devil" contacts, they accidentally gave her "lizard."

Yup, I don't tend to hold soaps too responsible for good storytelling, but General Hospital did a male rape storyline that was completely atrocious. I believe the character was raped, and his wife saw it as cheating and left him. And knowing the horrific character that she was, she probably also used every opportunity

No no, men are supposed to have jobs. It's when a woman has a job that it's called a ladyjob.

Don't watch Days, but this has happened on more than one soap that I have watched. Some have treated it as a joke and some have treated it as a trauma.

6? 6?!

Agreed. It's super rare nowadays that a broadcast network is able to even make a good show. Most of the best are on cable. I don't know if that's because networks have to go for lowest common denominator to get ratings and cable doesn't care as much about ratings, or because cable doesn't have as much

LOL, I just fed my twins dinner and they do this every meal. Monkey See, Monkey Do is the motto of twins around the world.

I had a half-second of "remake MSW? Not possible" but then the "Wow this is a great idea with great casting" set in. I'm excited! Though, being on NBC probably means it'll be total crap.

Oy. Reminds me of radon.

Wait, Raiden is a joke right? Please tell me it's a joke!!

I've always loved the name Kate (or Katherine or Katie). If I had girls I was loving Kate and Emma. Had boys though, thankfully as I'm sure Emma is like #1 or 2 on the list.
