Sway them into not having children maybe. Babies are LOUD :)

You don't believe a mother can not go anywhere without leaving her baby?? Seriously? I didn't breastfeed and I was present for my twins bottles every single bottle, day and night, until they were at least 1 year old. Sometimes their dad fed them, but I wasn't away from them ever. I'm not saying that's ideal or even…
My kids are 2 years old and they have yet to grant me a sick day. You just keep taking care of them, no matter how sick you are. That's what stay at home parents do if they don't have a local support system.
I wasn't able to breastfeed, but I think in a real emergency the baby would eventually take a bottle before it starved to death. There is just no need to force the baby to do that so mom can go to jury duty for one day.
If you are going to keep a baby's sole food supply away from the baby for an entire day... that's a problem. The choices are either exempt breastfeeding mothers without child care, or allow babies in jury duty.
I think the issue is less the breastfeeding and more the not having a caretaker for when the kid isn't eating in case she had to do something jury duty related.
You wouldn't have to, the kid not being fed when it's hungry would throw enough of a fit for everyone! That's what I don't understand about the usual "don't breastfeed in public" fights, would you rather a screaming baby or a boob????
I'm not going to use my children's education to fight racism.
Seriously, why would anyone (especially someone with children) stay in a shitty neighborhood if they could afford to leave it?
Ah, yikes. Didn't know that about her!
Have you seen her in things other than Glee though? I saw her in Les Mis at the Hollywood Bowl (I think that was after Spring Awakening but before Glee) and she was really fantastic. Maybe because it was from afar and she does have a great voice (IMO).
Reboot, spin the NYC kids off, something. But I just remember watching Rachel arrive in NYC and thinking that I should stop watching because that was exactly how I wanted it to end. Full of possibilities.
YES. Showtunes old geezer here too (34, that's old now right?). Season 1 I knew almost everything they sang, now it's like 1 in 10 songs.
I watched for Lea Michele's singing. Everyone and everything else either sucked or was just too much. I did like Kurt and thought some of the stuff with him and his father was amazing. But Finn, bad actor and worse singer/dancer, Puck was too cliche, Quinn wasn't a good singer, Mercedes was amazing as a singer but…
I will always wish that Glee ended with the montage at the end of the season with Rachel arriving in NYC. It felt so final and like such a perfect ending to me. I don't know or care about these new Glee kids and I don't really want to see Rachel's life in NYC. Arriving was the perfect ending, whatever they come up…
Exactly this. New York pizza is fucking amazing. Chicago "pizza" is what I would call a pizza pie. Like apple pie, but filled with too much sauce and some cheese instead of apple.
Loose sections falling out of ponytails are why ears were created.
That one is just the worst. UGH.
Yup! That's the one. lol If head bands didn't look so bad on me and hurt my head I would wear those when my hair is super short (I just don't like it in my face), but they do so it's teeny ponytails for me.
I have a permanent pony tail ridge in my hair because 99% of days it's in a ponytail. I cut it short once in a while to force myself to not wear it like that, but then I just sport the world's most ridiculous tiny pony tail until it grows back in.
