Twinboy wore a helmet for awhile. Twingirl was so fussy and high maintenance, I have to admit Twinboy spent a decent amount of time in his bouncy chair. It wasn't until I noticed the flat spot that I realized he had a preference for turning to one side, and also when he slept as well. There are preventive and

I work in schools too and everything you are saying is so true. Plus, I often find that the "popularity" bullies experience is simply fear - kids are afraid not to be their "friend" and risk being on the receiving end of the bullying. I can't recall seeing too many healthy friendships between bullies and other kids.

I was thinking the same thing. This concept is certainly not new, there have been lots of books, etc. about where we are failing boys, especially in teaching them to deal w/their emotions. But a shot in the arm never hurts!

Eh. I would say that its less likely that they don't have problems, and more likely that they are in denial and completely out of touch with their problems. Man up, bro!

To me she's still just that chick from Survivor who was cute and somehow got into TV, and blah blah blah, that doesn't mean she has anything worthwhile to say.

This. I almost laughed when I read that part. It's as if they think that now Boy Scouts is going to be an all sex, all the time free for all. wtf? You're absolutely right, they are much too busy with all the whittling and camping to be flaunting things regardless of who they would be flaunting them at.

My kids have been having some problems with neighborhood kids as of late. We live in a very small development, with a lot of kids their age. I realize kids are going to have problems, and generally I try to have them solve things themselves, but when it seems like they aren't able to I usually go over and see what

And also the cover up pants. Who doesn't want loungy beach pants that look like pj's?

As a regular person just living my life a minding my own business, I can't IMAGINE what it would be like to be suddenly thrust into the spotlight in this manner through no fault of my own, and be picked apart by assholes. I feel for this young woman, and I wish people would just lay the fuck off.

I know, right? I don't see him with a Harvard degree. Fucker.

Shut it with the Gosnell crap. Killing live babies DOES NOT EQUAL abortion. How about you get your facts straights?

I'm curious as to the occasion for such a cake?

Yeah, I would hardly call this G rated. Once you see it, you can't unsee it.

An apology, done right, makes it almost redundant for the person to continue giving you shit (deserved or undeserved) about it. Once one of my bosses was already to rip into me over something I knew I was in the right about, but also knew just as surely that he would never see it that way. Rather than getting into

Almost as good was the one who dared any of us to claim that we also don't regularly tell Jewish or gay jokes, because its all the same. Umm, I don't do that, either.

OMG that Anne Rice bullshit was beyond horrible. Talk about an apologist. She fell over herself trying to explain how such comments are only racist if they are said directly TO a black person, and how poor Paula was being targeted because this country loves to hate fat Southern women. Christ on a cracker.

Usually the people saying this shit are the same people who have atrocious spelling and grammar, so somehow it isn't as surprising.

Plus size and tall is no picnic either. You would think that they would expect taller women to be, on average, larger in general, but I often find pants lines that stop carrying tall sizes once they get above an 18. Petite and regular, yes. No talls. Grr.
