The standard Hong Kong taxi with 80hp is already terrifying enough when piloted at speed by a typical Hong Kong taxi driver, what with its wallowy suspension and simple, if fragile construction. Seriously, these things have the rigidity of a wet cereal packet in a crash. A supercharged version sounds great but good

Oooh, IIRC that’s also the explanation for the devastated stern section of the Titanic. After the ship split in half, the bow section could carve a far smoother path through the water down to the bottom, whereas the stern with its big, ripped open interior absolutely tore itself apart as it sank.

It’s also worth taking note how quickly their numbers grew - this time last year in Hong Kong, there were practically no Model S-es on the roads. Their numbers have absolutely exploded since then. No wonder, since they cost less than an E-Class or for a similar price, offer a ton more performance and pay around 80%

Well, that picture is from 2004...

Someone got out of the wrong side of the bed this morning, I literally have no idea what made you go on that tirade.

True, you’d have more fun with an MT, but these new double-clutch automatics shift faster than you ever will.

Depends which variant you look at and their purpose. Displacement ranged from 3.5 to 5 litres. In the ‘67 Rover P5B in 3.5 guise, it had 158hp. The ‘88 TVR 450 SEAC had a 4.5 which could push out 320hp. Similarly the 4.6 in the Range Rover only developed 222hp, but delivered maximum torque low down in the rev range.

Uh no. The Rover V8 was one of the best engines of its day - light, powerful, tuneable and surprisingly, relatively reliable.

Future homage to the CUV - I dread to think...

Sweeeeeeeeeeet.

Wait a minute...is that an 8C?

I’m surprised so few people know about the white circles as spots for racing numbers. And I’m also bemused by how many people go around the internet claiming the white dots ruin the car (or other F-Types)- I’ve never seen people complain about those white dots on seven figure Ferraris...

Easy peasy.

Got this Pz. II. Ausf D as an Christmas present in WoT last year - absolutely hopeless machine. Sluggish performance despite being lighter than the normal Pz. II, paper thin armour and a biblically terrible gun that has to use expensive APCR rounds to do any damage to the enemy.

His is the previous generation though.

Put simply, the current Range Rover is the best SUV in the world.

Really? Because as far as I remember, the E-Type was a popular car straight from the get-go. The only one that was “unpopular” with the purists and not the people that bought them was the 2+2.

The DS was definitely popular in Europe. Despite its complexity and relatively high purchase price, over 1.4 million of them were produced.

Darwin Award right there.

I’ve never suffered this (and I hope I never do), but I hear hydraulic injection injuries can be horrific. Inexperienced people working on a Merc 600’s hydraulics may have encountered this...
