Yes, I just decided my next iPhone will be 64 GB.

I bet the 16 million people who bought Macs last year care.

I interpret the article to be mostly about LRADs used at protests in general, with a little "oh yeah, and the Ferguson Missouri cops have LRAD" thrown in.

Large shipping companies used to use these to deter pirates. Then the pirates started using ear plugs.

Isn't your highly recommended DPx HEST/F a D2 blade? Looks like they're all D2 but the Milspec and Limited Edition models.

My local sporting goods store has a few nice Benchmade folders for $75 - $95.

Check out Benchmade, DPX, Zero Tolerance (not my style, but get good reviews), and don't forget to look at Kershaw. Some Kershaws are fantastic, some not so much. My next purchase will be a small Benchmade- probably a mini Griptilian. For full tang outdoors knives, I love my ESEE.

I would like to see this same test done on OS X.

For that LH article, yes. Although I'm pretty sure I've seen tools for OS X that do the same thing referenced somewhere on LH. But if you need live backups this is a good way to do it.

The hovering personal assistant has been done already.

Something that anyone who's ever moved furniture in or out of an apartment knows well.

I call for an update! Time to rehash this topic.

I'd rather my house smell of paint fumes than onion.

Note that they're selling a 2 GB RAM version here. The C720 and C720p that won all the awards is the 4 GB RAM model. The refurbished C720 even has a different model number: C720-2802 (02, for 2 GB), not the normal C720-2800 version (that has 4 GB).

I agree - but for the record it's the National Geographic channel, not Discovery.

We need another reader high-five for this topic. It's been too long since this was written. Time to revisit.

Yeah, with Plex you can store your content on something like Dropbox and stream it to anything that can receive Plex. I have not yet tried that feature.

My favorite Chromecast enabled app is Plex. Lets me stream any movie, tv show, picture or song I have saved locally on my PC to Chromecast. It costs a few bucks a month though (but less than Hulu Plus or Netflix).
