I've got a buddy who can't swallow pills. Some sort of mental block I guess. He has to get capsule pills, and he takes them with Pop-Tarts. As in, he peels off the top of the tart exposing the jelly filling and opens up the capsules and pours the powder from the capsule into the pop-tart.

For that LH article, yes. Although I'm pretty sure I've seen tools for OS X that do the same thing referenced somewhere on LH. But if you need live backups this is a good way to do it.

1password actually has clients for Windows Phone, iOS, Android, Mac and Windows. They have a tricky workaround were you can create a web access to your 1password database. That works on Linux, but it's not as nice and easy as Mac and Windows.
It's the mornings for me. From 8 to 11 is my sweet spot. I get a little boost around 5 PM, but it's nothing like the AM.

I've had good success with 2X Client RDP (free on App Store). It only does RDP, but for that it's worked great for me. Better than MS RDP. Better picture and less lag. There are many adjustments you can make depending on your connection.
I'm running the latest version (just checked) and haven't noticed any bugginess.
