I really wonder where all those people in the comments who have never pirated games come from. They seem to be all over the Internet, but I’ve never actually met any in real life. I’m hardly being sassy here - I have literally never met in the flesh a gamer who has never pirated games.

Gunpei Yokoi’s genius was to use older hardware that kept the Game Boy affordable and its battery life manageable. He understood that a colour screen on a handheld gaming device was too ambitious at this point.

Dark Souls. I’ve only seen the ending where you link the Fire, but it was brief, ambiguous, and perfect.

Cautiously optimistic about this one. While DkS2 was a great game, it didn’t hold the magic its predecessor had. I’m waiting to see who’ll direct this one.

Agreed. The Android part was weak, but the actual Cell part has so many fantastic moments, from time-traveling Trunks realizing something is wrong to Son Goku’s riveting duel in the Cell Games. On the other hand, I could have done without the Buu saga. But then, we wouldn’t have this. ;)

At first I thought this was a very entertaining front-loading washing mashine.

So I take it that the next step is Grindr plays Pokémon XY?

I agree: Cyclops Was Right. ;)

I was really interested in that one, but I dropped it after they broke the Infinity Gauntlet trying to do something too powerful for the Infinity Gauntlet. It really undermined the idea of what the Infinity Gauntlet is supposed to be, and it felt more like they just needed an excuse to get it out of the way.

Wait - why is drinking menstrual blood gross, and drinking plain, old regular blood not gross?

The reason for the murders might seem absurd, but the magic of it is that it makes complete sense. Instead of the convoluted real-estate scheme that, yes, could be the motive, but feels like a McGuffin, all these people have been murdering because they want to keep the town pretty and win the award for it again. I’m fine that the policy outlines clearly racism and sexism as unacceptable behaviours (strangely enough, they don’t specifically mention homophobia...), but I think the policy should be more along the lines that offenders will be warned and repeat offenders may face a ban.

Did they check under the box?

I was a tester on Disney cellphone game based on one of their major movie franchises. To our dismay, when we were testing the profanity filter (it’s actually a lot of fun to do), we discovered it censored the word “love”. Go, Disney!

I don’t own a PSP, and I’ve been wanting to play Dissidia on my living room TV for ages. I’m fine with cool stuff happening in arcades, but I really wish there was a living room console Dissidia, even if it’s just a PSN port of the PSP games.

I see two problems with this. First of all, while I'm not familiar with the state of child social services in the U.K., I can tell you that here in Canada they have to deal with tight resources and that they would tell you not to waste their time if you ever called them with something that trivial. There are far more

It seems to me that she's very clear on her expectations and boundaries, and as long as her partners are down with that, I don't see a problem with it.

Wait, what? 24GB of SDRAM? 4GB of GDDR5 video RAM? What sort of effing monster is that thing? Is that the laptop equivalent of a Lamborghini? Is that for playing Evolve, Endless Legend, and Pillars of Eternity all at once? What game even comes close to needing that hardware?

Hey, I appreciate male camaraderie as much as the next (queer) guy, but that s*** Tabata has been saying is not cool.

Can I be Nappa's half-saiyan son from Trunk's alternate future? Because "resurrecting all those who died because of Frieza and his men" totally included Nappa.
