It looks like the ball was in the catcher's glove before he made the decision to swing. He wasn't so much trying to hit the ball as he was trying to wave the bat around in front of a catcher trying to make a throw.

GRIT QUIZ:

Western society has determined that competition is bad for kids. Video games traditionally have some sort of goal or ending where someone wins or something is conquered. Not Minecraft. Minecraft is legos.

The LA Clippers cannot operate as an NBA franchise with Sterling as a part. When you have the player's union threatening boycotts and a guy like Doc Rivers ready to walk out on his contract, the NBA needs to show they're doing everything in their power to get rid of him. That involves voting him out of the league and

Maybe it's because I live in my own little bubble, but I was really surprised to hear so much support for Sterling, even if it was just "HURR DURR FREE SPEECH"

The fried White Castle burger genuinely looks good. Overall, I'd eat about half of these.

That's exactly what I thought when I saw this.

Bridgewater, a former ace University of Louisville quarterback, could be the number one pick in Thursday's NFL draft.

Police are investigating the situation. Everything released so far seems to indicate that Kaepernick was gone before anything happened, and that the police are trying to figure out if there was a "sexual situation." You admittedly don't know the specifics of the situation, yet you keep talking about a "mob" or a "group" taking over a moral issue.

If Olin was calling Sterling a victim because Sterling was being beaten up in an alleyway by a group of delinquents, you'd have a point. All of Sterling's consequences (the fine, the ban, and the proposed forced sale of his team) are a direct result of his actions. That's why calling him a victim is unreasonable.

The worst was the repeated articles about how that Asian man was "hacking" Jeopardy.

I'll never understand why people in the eastern half of the US are so angry all the time. I live in a metro area on the west coast and my daily commute during rush hour involves a lot of traffic on a major highway. Even so, I'll go weeks without hearing someone honk their horn. Never heard anyone yell.

Any time is a good time for pizza talk.

Just because the civilized world (sorry, "mob") views rape as a serious crime and racism as reprehensible (sorry, "ill-gotten moral highground"), it doesn't make sense that defending the rapists and racists is also reprehensible?

Yeah, everyone with a burner account is a moron.
