I didn't know that putting the garter BACK ON someone else was a thing. That just makes it even more gross.

I've always been super enthusiastic about bouquet tosses, for the sake of the bride and the photographer. It's the guests that ruin it, with comments like what you had to deal with.

I caught the bouquet at a wedding and gave it to the youngest daughter of my boyfriend at the time. She had really wanted to catch it, so I thought she'd be really pleased to have it. But she seemed really confused about it and after a while wandered back to the bride to give it back to her. Girl, that was a separate

I thought the girl that caught the bouquet and the guy who caught the garter were supposed to dance together. Regardless, didn't happen at my wedding.

I made sure to state very clearly that there would be NO CAKE SMEARING. Because right, what I really want to do is take a time out from my wedding to wash icing off my face and reapply makeup.

This is why I had a separate bouquet to toss, which were a dozen paper flowers. We invited everyone to try to catch it, not just the single ladies. The flowers scattered and 12 people took one home!

I kind of want to try it now though...

Not so impressive an hour later when he's stuck on the toilet, crying.

"What if there was, like, a HOT milkshake?" I said drunkenly one night to friends, thinking I was a damn genius.

Some people like a lot of milk in their coffee but don't need the foam... just sayin... *looks at her feet*

It's possible to only hear a word and never see it in print, and not make the connection, but for a dish as common as spaghetti it's a bit boggling.

A friend from the Pacific Northwest told me that cream cheese on hot dogs was totally a thing up there. I'll believe it when I see it!

Yup, I would be pissed if I found out I'd just had a pot-laced brownie. I have BAD reactions to that shit.

Okay, yeah the cheese is gross, but chili on spaghetti? ...Is it really all that bad? I mean, people have chili over rice, and meat sauce over spaghetti, so it's not a huge leap...

I've been to a steakhouse in Indianapolis a couple of times that's apparently known for its shrimp cocktail. Not because it's good, but because it's just dripping in horseradish.

*whispers quietly* ...I want that chocolate pot.

Not gonna lie, I'd still eat that.

Cool, I'll check those out when I'm back! I go for GenCon, which means that basically every restaurant is completely packed. I found one though that had a glitch on Google Maps and was listed as being somewhere else... wonder if that's why there were always empty tables.

Next year when I'm back in Indy I'll stick with the better restaurants. I don't even know why people thought Buca would be a good idea...

Should have specified, by "everywhere," I mean other Bucas.
