Actually they banned online poker in the United States, hence the drop in popularity. As a big poker player there for a while, there are tons of douchebags which is a real problem in real life game, but I was pretty frustrated that the government actually decided that I can’t play a fucking fun game on my computer…

So my dad was a little bit estranged and it certainly wasn’t like “sister who you are probably super close to,” but I found out he died suddenly my sophomore year of college & I played pickup basketball about 20 minutes later.

I’m going to offer a *very* tepid defense of the airline just because while there are some obvious missteps leading up to and after the incident, it was also sort of a perfect storm of circumstances.
