I love John Oliver, but I’m so glad he didn’t take over TDS. Him finding his own voice and format has been so phenomenal. I don’t think he could have done the same show he’s doing now on Comedy Central.

I’ve been getting full on anxiety dreams lately about a Trump presidency. I’m 41 and I’ve never had anxiety dreams like this before.

Just a bit of extra info on that- I’m a type 1 diabetic so bloodsugar is my wheelhouse: It varies from minute to minute. If he had a fasting blood sugar, like if it was done first thing in the morning, that’s a totally believable and rational bloodsugar for a non-diabetic. Even if you were to eat a gallon of ice…

The usual surrogates were all over CNN this morning claiming that Trump never *actually said* that he was going to go over his medical records with Doctor Oz. We only presumed it- and that because he used the term “release them this week” we should all be patient. Guys. Seriously.

I have no idea what that last paragraph means, but damn if it isn’t magical.
