So, in your book, a pedophile who sexually assaulted his 7 year old daughter isn’t Weinstein, Louis CK or Anthony Weiner bad?

I know it wasn’t too dark because I shot it.

I’m with the woman in your theater. I thought the moment was awesome when I watched it, and I still do.

I don’t disagree with anything you’ve said here.

The only valid reason for there to have been as little time as there was devoted to mourning her Tony-style is if she’s not permanently dead the way that he is.

I’m genuinely not having a moan about it, I just think it’s an interesting situation to think about. I hope they don’t pretend it didn’t happen and actually explore some of the the consequences because it’s be really interesting story wise (as long as they didn’t get too bogged down in it)

You forget everybody in the crypts. Could they have telegraphed that coming disaster any clearer?

F-rated Movie Reviews from AV Club always make my day.

Hey, are you ever going to apologize for claiming that people who disagreed with you are rapists?

I bet you wouldn’t be posting this if the headline was ‘all sexual assault charges against Jussie Smollett have been dropped’. Just a feeling I have.

Now playing

“Shutting down conspiracy theorists probably wasn’t high on director Todd Douglas Miller’s to-do list when he was making the documentary Apollo 11.”

I’m not going to argue that Close deserves recognition for her acting abilities - she’s the actor everyone thinks Meryl Streep is - but I saw both ‘The Wife’ and ‘The Favourite’, and I do think Colman gave the superior performance. It was brave, funny, poignant, and complex, and it’s just one of the great performances

Glenn Close is a great American actress, and it is indeed disturbing that she doesn’t have an Oscar.

Olivia Colman gave a great performance and was never just an ‘okay comic actesss’ you dolt.

Not to mention they were told by Jackson that if they spoke out, both he and they would go to jail.  That’s pretty powerful stuff to tell survivor, who often have feelings of responsibility for what happened to them.  They must’ve been terrified to speak out.  I don’t blame them.

It’s not uncommon for victims of sexual abuse to venerate their abuser as part of their denial.

I’m seeing double: four Tom Hanks typos!

Yeah, that’s still hate speech. Especially with the spelled out double R’s. Not necessary or okay at all.

The fuck is wrong with you.

Hopefully they give him the damn Oscar this time. I cannot believe Sean Penn beat Bill Murray. Bill Murray was sublime and Sean Penn was overacting. Get it right next time Academy.
