It blows my mind that we can say such a thing about an episode where Danny DeVito stuffs buffalo wings up his nose at a gay bondage orgy, and yet I totally agree.
I heard somewhere, and I can’t remember where, that his wife/partner/girlfriend at the time was something of an editor of sorts for his ideas and really streamlined a lot of his wackier ideas. She wasn’t around for the later years, so he went pretty unfiltered.
On your side note, I thought she was boss in Green Room and love everything she touches from Arrested to Whip It.
