Oh man. I am so glad that you responded because I had no idea that you had to pay for these classes! That's nonsense to have something mandatory like a class that you need to pay for. I don't like that one bit.

It really is terrible. I've even seen adult friends of mine become really torn up throughout the process of their parents' divorces, so I can't even fathom what they would have experienced as children.

Another really good point. Just because people show up doesn't mean they will learn. But I guess the hope is that some people might? The whole thing is messy, but I guess it's the optimist in me that thinks there may be some children who have benefitted from these classes.

This is a really great point. Maybe it should be required before you can even begin the legal process of divorce?

I think this is overstepping. However, I'm pretty sure a couple states (Connecticut?) require educational sessions for married-couples-with-children who are divorcing. My understanding is that the classes are meant to benefit the children by advising the parents the best way to conduct themselves during the divorce…

I think their underwear is pretty great and comfortable (and offers full-butt coverage without looking dowdy, which I like). Their bras leave a lot to be desired.

I have nothing substantial to add to what Doyin posted, but I do want to say that I think this was an extremely well-written piece and I think his daughters are very lucky to have him as a father.

I feel like I can't hate on this pairing considering my favorite movie couple of all time is composed of a 16 year old and a 19(?) year old who used to be step-siblings.

I don't think that polygamy and marriage-between-two-people-no-matter-their-genders are totally comparable, but I do happen to think that both should be legal. No legislation should stop people from marrying who they want to marry, even if I happen to think polygamy is a little squicky.

I went to high school with her! She was (and I'm sure still is) a great person.

You technically get more money if you choose the annuities, but then the amount does not grow with inflation. If you choose the lump sum, you give your winnings the ability to grow with the market over time.
