I agree, I think they promised Alexander Siddig this cool part of a guy who seems very dull and the it turns out he's this mastermind plotter. I was really looking forward to him playing that. And then after everyone hated Dorne so much, they just cut their losses.

I have a theory that logically, they had to be killed to make any sense, but they were lovely doggies and all of us so totally blase about the human corpses would have reacted too badly to the sight of dead dogs and stolen focus from what was going on with Ssnsa/ Brienne.

I’m guessing that while most of us are totally not bothered by the pile of dead bodies after a fight on this show they knew couple of dog corpses would make people very upset. Or maybe it's too hard to get the dogs to play dead for all the takes!
