This is exactly what I was hoping sonic was gonna be when it was announced last year.

its such a shame that all these hard working people who obviously love the source material are gonna put this much love into something that is absolutely going to suck.

This game was sabotaged. What a shame. If they continue to improve it over a year, and I mean fundamentally - like physics, hit stun, animations - then the players might come back to it. But it came out feeling cheap as fuck, so they dropped the price to match it... and then went ahead and added all the stuff that…
