WD-40 is designed to be a water displacer, hence the ‘WD’ in the name. It’s meant to push water out of crevices and hard to reach places in metal parts to prevent rust. It will also work pretty well as a solvent or degreaser.

The snark is pretty appropriate. I’m quite confident that most everyone involved in a shooting event tries to escape. You don’t need to tell most people that they should try to run away. Cities don’t tax cyclists because it is to the benefit of the city to incentivize cycling as much as possible. Reduced congestion, reduced wear and tear on roads, cleaner air, reduced parking requirements, healthier populace both physically and mentally etc, etc. More cycling and more bicycle infrastructure in cities…

Sure the answer is to fine cyclist. You definitely needs to educate yourself on why cyclists in a poorly designed city for bikes are acting that way. (not approving their behavior but fines are not the answer)

Sorry, I could have been more clear. While I find the suggestion of having cycling routes “elevated or underground or through buildings” to be silly, I’m not against proper bicycle infrastructure. It’s the last paragraph that’s the really bad part.
