I have to agree with Emily wholeheartedly, the ball was great but it was Dustin and Nancy who brought all the emotion. Matarazzo and Dyer were so damn winning, her dialogue about girls of that age will come around for him........ well, it was just about perfect.

Joyce, Jonathan, and Mike trying to get through to Will while telling heartfelt stories from the past wasn’t only moving, but was such narrative perfection in filling in backstory that give these characters so much depth. Byers’ Castle origin story? Yes please!!

I had to admit it was an awesome moment when Eleven finally was reunited with the gang. Like when Dale Cooper finally woke up.

Nancy tearing the phone off the wall was pretty great. Also keeps the gag of “Byers need a new phone” going.
