@PsychoSuperman: I ditched my Pre and got an Evo on launch day, and it is awesome. I am already googified with Gmail and Google Voice and such, so the transition was as easy as could be. Put in my gmail credentials on the new phone, and pow, everything was there.

How about the "My job pays for a TechNet subscription but doesn't use or account for those licenses, so I use Office 2010 but don't officially pay for it" option...

@Yeah!: I concur, I have a hard enough time finding enough music I like to fill 8GB, but the Zune HD doing so well with movies, I wouldn't mind having a bit more space for flicks on the plane...

@KTope: It works on so many levels!!!

@steve.e.curtis: Plus, are we forgetting weather radar? Doppler in specificity? Water can return a signal easy enough. If water were transparent to radar, there would be no need for sonar, we could look for anything with radar.

What about those of us that don't want an iPhone for our various reasons, and don't want AT$T for obvious reasons? I like to think I go for hardware first, and the iPhone has never interested me based on hardware specs alone. Experiencing just about every solution that has been fan-boy'd, BB, Pre, iPhone, and now an

This is why I only BT off my neighbors wireless.

@D0GG: Meh, Dropbox is free, and works just like Mobile Me. 2.5 GB for signing up from a referral and setting up your account correctly. Plus another 250 MB for each person you refer that signs up, up to 8 GB.

@Mickets: I just switched from a Pre to an Evo. I loved WebOS, and especially the fact that "rooting" it was as easy as typing up up down down left right left right b a start in the main phone screen. Love the inside joke.

@NyC88Rican: I concur completely, just did a comparo with a friend's 3GS at lunch today. Both phones have protective cases on them, and the Evo is taller by a fraction of an inch.

Radio Shack will not get nearly as many phones as AT&T or an Apple store will. The Radio Shack directly across the street from a Sprint store got two, count 'em one-two HTC Evos in that were not pre orders. The Sprint Store had more than enough, no line, and their software to activate has priority over second party

@saxgod: Yupper, go Menu — Settings — Language and Keyboard — Touch Input — User Dictionary.

@raleel: Because Steve Jobs would demand to control what grade of gasoline you put in your car to ensure the "experience"

Well, we'd have to ensure we were set for performance AND redundancy, so where do I get my striped and mirrored yottabyte disk array?

@kagehyo6: Cuz it's all about knowing how to lay pipe
