That could be, he certainly wouldn't be the first person to pay off police. But this whole thing just doesn't seem like a good way to make money...like at all. When it's all said and done it seems like it would be less work to learn to be an engineer and build something real.

Okay, I agree in principle that buying used cars is a better option. However here's the problem I have with financing.

I'm gonna catch hell for this, but I nominate the 2006-07 WRX. Sure the wagon is good (I own one) but the sedan just looks better.

True, but it could potentially save other small businesses some money at the pump, that would allow those businesses to hire new workers. Lower gas prices = more money for tacos. Taco vendors make more money, they expand operations to let privately owned gas stations sell their delicious tacos for a cheaper price.

True, but you're making the assumption that they'll make a complete hash of it instead of waiting to see how the numbers turn out.

This just seems like the next logical step in the free market. If the town can logistically support the prices at the station and stay in the black then why not? Will it hurt small businesses? Maybe, but only if those businesses don't compete with the prices. The state government already regulates the pump inspections
