Foamstars uses AI art.

Sounds like a convenient smokescreen to distract from the fact that Foamstars was recently exposed for using AI art.

She-Hulk’s writing was actually pretty brilliant.  You’ve got to be able to follow along with the meta-commentary taking place of course.  And also - you have to not be the target of the meta-commentary in the first place.

All taste is subjective of course.

In my view:

Punisher was fine, but not new or novel. The others you complain about being higher, many had on offer (at the very least) something most people hadn’t seen before.

She-Hulk, the early seasons of S.H.I.E.L.D., Luke Cage, Moon Knight, Hawkeye, Ms. Marvel and Agent Carter

Yep with a fair number of actors showing up at one point or another.  The coppest of cop shows

My parents say the same thing, but they’re in their 70s and only enjoy crime stories. Some of the brilliant shows of the past decade or so, such as Atlanta or Reservation Dogs, is utterly beyond them. Plus, they largely only seek out tv on linear and HBO.

Funnier people than Jo Koy have bombed as awards show hosts. Looking at you, David Letterman. Difference there is that in the aftermath, as far as I know, Letterman never called Oprah and Uma marshmallows, and instead made himself the butt of the joke. Jo, you could stand to learn from Dave.

No, Jo, just let it blow over, don’t make it a bigger deal, you dummy! Ugh, why are famous people just incapable of not posting through it...

I think there’s a misconception that people - including Taylor Swift - didn’t laugh because his jokes were offensive. People didn’t laugh because they weren’t funny.

The problem is that they need to acknowledge that it has a new name, but Musk is so goddamn stupid that he renamed it the letter commonly used to denote a placeholder name. It’s kinda necessary so people don’t see “X” and think Kotaku just forgot to write in the actual name.

Why would I ask some half-baked AI to do it for me, only to have to waste time double-checking the AI’s work afterwards?

Me, last Friday: “I need a Python code that takes a WAV file and splits it into multiple MP3 songs so that I can have all the songs we recorded in yesterday’s rehearsal separated and ready to send as email attachments”

But I was told “NFTs are the future, whether I like it or not.

Some internet shit that a rich idiot ruined, I think.

I miss the blockchain and NFTs. Not because I liked them, but because it was endlessly amusing watching people INSIST that it was super special magical technology that would change the world, and then never be able to give an actual use case for them. I think the closest they ever got were for recording transactions

I guess he went from transgressive to trans-aggressive.

I didn’t expect to see this set, but I was at my parents’ home when they decided to watch. (While I educate where I can, I don’t police what my family watches.) So, I sat through this before reading about it. And, I have to say, this article nails it. He sounds like an old fool; one of those guys you’ll hear in any

I’m with you on the episode count, but I’m not sure about the important/interesting distinction. I remember watching the first season of Jessica Jones and being baffled that a show about a private detective had zero cases of the week. Or maybe there was one, but it turned out the case was a trap and it all just became

Right? I’m Brazilian, not an expert in history or neo-nazism, English is not my first language, and even then, when I first read about this game yesterday, I immediately saw the problem with the name, so it’s hard to believe that the people involved with this didn’t.

There’s a lot to dislike about Rise of Skywalker, but that’s the one that killed it for me. Going into that movie I was more invested in Rose Rico than any other character. Then she got all of two lines that could have been said by anyone. Kelly deserved so much better.
