Sad stuff. Sounds like they need to use course marshalls that will control the spectator areas a little better. I don't always enjoy how draconian safety rules are here in the US, but they do seem to protect folks better. Planning spec areas on the inside of corners, elevated from the course, keeping spectators…

What about putting regular doors on it? That would be different, yo.
