Don't let good composites go BAD!

Anything made out of clear lexan with 12 velocity stacks looking though.BTW, while not the coolest hood bulge ever, the DSM "turbo bulge" is the least understood. The bulge isn't for the turbo, but actually to make clearance for the cam gears.

@CJinSD: I was speaking strictly from a wheelbase/weight standpoint, trying to say that layout has less to do with capability in tight turns. Turns out I'm wrong about the Mini's wheelbase being short, so disregard anything I said :)

Skiing is my most loved activity, even more than driving. I was a ski instructor all last winter. Strangely, I have never found non-heated wipers or washer fluid to be a problem. Why do we even need it? We don't need heated tires...

Still not worth owning a Ford.

@VeeArrrSix: A much better representative of PNW music than that stupid band, Nirvana. Especially since signing Johnny Marr on to play guitar...

It looks like they wanted an Evo X to be able to kiss it instead of pass...

@Nürburgring: Watch it! Not all DSM's are lowered. some just reinforce the chassis at stock ride height and get slicks. Real enthusiasts get the Talon instead. Pay less initially, fewer "mods" to unfuckup...

@jalopnikfan: If you were a true jalopnikfan, you'd know that a Porsche 911 is RR layout. MR means the engine is in front of the rear axle. On a really short course, a FF with much shorter wheelbase and less weight could concievably have an advantage. Ever been to a trackday and seen Miatas stomping on Corvettes in…

@CraigSu: I liked it better when it was called a Mazda Rx7 FD...

Any rules on tires? ;)

@Matt Chambers: Thanks, but there are far more talented commentors here than I...

@LS1RX7owen: Amen to LSRx7's! Saw one at an autocross last summer that stole my heart.

Reminds me of the scene where Chong rides his motorcyle on a stand in front of a fan listening to that same song. Wait, I remembered that?

Of course, he had a Bentley Continental GT.

I've always felt we need some sort of designation of driving skill. Graduated tests you can take in a controlled environment to allow different speed limits for those that can do it safely!

And I thought my 63 Nova wagon was an engine block shredder!
