I love all the comments saying" geez, why don't they just capture the oil." Like oil tankers are cheap and unused these days. Like the Coast Guard has a bunch laying around, ready for service in just this case. Some might ask why BP doesn't take a tanker off regular duty to suck up the almost unusable water/oil…

@petersterncan: They're using dispersant, and trying to contain as much as they can. There's just too much. Unless, of course, you really are smarter and have bigger tankers than the coast guard.
