Wow, Ford holds quick meetings.
Wow, Ford holds quick meetings.
And true to name, this shit is rank as hell. Someone please take out the trash.
Seriously. Make it look nice all around and cap it at $49,995, and you’ve got a winner. But since the Canyon starts at $22K and change, much more for a model that isn’t a spartan tradesman special, and now we’re above $70K which is just outrageous.
One thing I’ll always give them credit for - their turbo 4's make a deceptive amount of power given their numbers on paper. The torque comes on smooth but surprisingly strong when you plant your foot.
I don’t know what the market case is for the diesel anymore now that they’re offering the turbo 2.5 in the CX-5. Rated 27/31 mpg with over 300 ft-lbs of torque, and more horsepower than their 2.2D could ever muster.
Too light a penalty.
Every time I learn something new about a Toyota Century I just want one more and more than any other luxury sedan out there.
The official work truck of Groundskeeper Willie.
They should do what they did with the Rogue and introduce the new model as the Frontier, and keep this honest little thing going another couple years as the Frontier Select/Classic/Workman/Clever Name Here with just the minimum required updates to get it to acceptable safety ratings and include the federally-required…
Hey man, all it takes is that one emergency swerve to justify every penny of the higher-performing stuff. There are longer-lasting, quieter, cheaper tires out there, but BFGoodrich Comp-2's are why I’m typing this comment today and not a name buried in an article somewhere in last year’s news.
Loud, full of hot air, and under-performing relative to their peers? Perfect!
The key word here is “should.”
I’ve seen non-Jalop people balk at a $2 price difference between tires, despite the fact the $2 cheaper one is rated for 10,000 fewer miles. “I won’t have this car much longer anyway” they usually say before buying the cheaper of the two and repeating this process 40,000 miles later.
Seriously! I remember the absolute surprise that was finding out my Honda Accord was built in America with a high percentage of domestic parts. I’m surprised more brands with foreign-engineered, but domestically-produced, cars don’t make this a selling point.
I need it available on a 40-column compatible BBS so I can read it from my Commodore 64. Can’t start the day without it. Where’s Torch when I need him?
What benefit is there to cheating at golf?
I have an MBA and I’m great at making Powerpoint decks. Thank you for the heads-up; I’ll get started now so I’m ready for that sweet seven-figure payday when it all comes to fruition.
I never thought I could lust after a tool but that’s just sexy. Thanks for the wishlist addition!
Is that the site that replaced YouCorn? I haven’t been able to keep up ever since ShuckBot closed its doors...
Big Dig hired Dig Dug but big Dug dug buds so Dig Dug’s dig gig was a Big Dig dud.
