It runs electric-only in the pitlane, when the driver hits the pit-limiter the V8 kicks in. From there on out it’s an automatic hybrid system.

I don’t believe she’s ever mentioned in Part II.

I agree. I had no real complaints but at the same time I got a little bored at times because I’ve already seen it before. I do hope (and expect) that this feeling will gradually go away once the series starts deviating from the game’s storyline a bit more.

Exactly. It’s was leaked last year that NASCAR explored options to get out of their deal with Motorsports Games, but failed to find anyone who came close to matching what MSG was paying. No concrete evidence or anything, but it certainly fuels the theory that’s been out there for a while that MSG has been severely

Sure they do. But this wasn’t one.

Why assume so much, when you know so little? This had nothing to do with problems on his end, it was a result of the major server issues that were going on for the entire event. Verstappen takes part in dozens of sim-races every year, and he’s probably the fastest road sim-racer out there. This is not some noob who

Also, a £2000 entry fee. Let’s not forget that.

They did, though it’s clear now that anyone could’ve managed to find that address, whether it was accidentally shared or not.

It’s much more fun so watch them burn, I guess. Wouldn’t be shocked if they don’t survive 2023. They were in real trouble just last month but were probably saved by a 2 million $ investment.

Naughty Dog’s writing is incredible by video game standards, but it still doesn’t solve the inherent issue video games face, that of “the story doesn’t really match the gameplay”. The famous example of course being that Nathan Drake is a likeable, quippy treasure hunter who also happens to be a mass murderer of

1) unless you simrace in a formula-style seating position (which most people don’t), an integrated screen is probably the most useless feature on any rim. Just get a seperate DDU.

This is a good thing, considering the vast majority of people in the market for a DD won’t require a handbrake. If you want a handbrake, buy a handbrake.

Yes. Mid-to-high end simracing pedals use load cells over potentiometers as it’s easier to be accurate with inputs (and more realistic) when they are measured by force instead of linear pedal throw.

Agreed. In that range, the VRS is a much stronger option, even if it uses old (but proven) technology and the setup isn’t great.

LMH cars are allowed to run in IMSA, however they’ll require a hefty BOP to take part since LMH and LMDh regulations aren’t the same.

It’s not “literally” the same team. It’s the same entry. There’s a difference.

Agreed. Mick has to drive close to 100% a lot of the time to keep up with F1 level talents, who can operate at blazing speed while still having a little margin for error. This inevitably leads to mistakes and crashes, and with Magnussen already being very error-prone, Haas just couldn’t keep both of them on.

Porsche never intended to develop an engine themselves. They wanted to purchase a majority share in Red Bull Technologies and Red Bull Powertrains, with Porsche engineers joining the experienced Red Bull staff at RBPT to develop and build their engine as “Porsche” power units, moving away from Honda power units in 2026

What do you think the Porsche deal would’ve looked like? It was the exact same idea with only the added point of Porsche buying into Red Bull as a company. They were still planning to run engines designed and built by RBPT and brand them as Porsche.

Nobody is considering her. Not even her own team is supporting her, as Williams have clearly refused to get her an F3/F2 drive. She’s just more valuable to them in the W Series, where she can win and get positive press, as opposed to an actual competitive feeder series where she’d be an also-ran.
