I don’t care. I hate the narrative that Pironi was somehow responsible for Villeneuve’s death. As if Gilles needed a reason to overdrive the car.

I don’t really think any of the guys on the list are underrated, except for De Angelis.

No, he didn’t win the season opener (he didn’t take part) and he didn’t win the second race (the Indy 500). He won the last 6.

Best 4 of 8 races counted, and Ascari’s best 4 were all wins (he had 6 wins out of 7, as he didn’t take part in the season opener and retired from the Indy500).

I agree that he was underrated, but he never qualified on pole in a Jordan.

I don’t know what stats you’re looking at but he didn’t beat Alonso.

YES.

It’s only since 1991 that all results count towards the drivers championship.

Haas’ strategy team is generally horrendous, but this poor result wasn’t on them for a change. This shit will keep happening when you employ extremely flawed drivers. 15 points in 9 races is embarrassing when you have a car this quick.

They had the same issues in the Barcelona test, where they ran more conventional sidepods. The team that’s arguably second-most affected is Ferrari, and they run relatively large sidepods compared to most other teams.

Raising the ride height could potentially exacterbate the issue, as the front-end of the car would bounce back to the ground a larger distance after the air stalls under the car.

needs more dramatic pause

People born in the 2000s.

He didn’t just own part of Williams, he effectively ran that team in 2012.

(and the argument is only whether he’s number one or number two)

It would be wildly prejudicial to allow a verdict from a separate civil case (with a different defendant) to be heard by a jury. Even if the Sun case has been in the US, that would never be allowed in. Of course, Heards team knows this, and bringing it up as their main gripe is telling as to how weak their case is.

No they’re not. They’re about $300 (999 AED) on the Yas Marina site.

Well, first of all, the UK suit wasn’t against Heard. It was against a publication, which makes it much more complicated to prove actual malice. It should also be noted that a lot of evidence wasn’t permitted in that trial, and Heard verifiably perjured herself on the stand.

The entire testimony is going to get ignored. This expert witness knew less about anything than anyone.

He was let go from one - Pirates. He resigned from the Fantastic Beasts franchise, allegedly due to Warner Bros pressure (WB also produces Aquaman). He still got paid for the 3rd FB movie though, but didn’t appear in the final cut.
