Hamilton on his 24th birthday: 9 wins/13 poles/22 podiums

Then Kevin Magnussen has to be the cleanest driver in F1 history.

It’s almost as if it’s much easier to excel against IndyCar competition.

Hamilton is not the youngest champion ever.

Isn’t Montreal much closer for you then? It’s one of the best races to visit.

Except that the FIA doesn’t schedule races.

Villeneuve would be a good one. I often find myself disagreeing with him, but I appreciate that he doesn’t give a shit about what anyone thinks.

Of course, this ancient 23 year-old will never win a title if he doesn’t win it this season, while battling a car that’s been quicker than his since Silverstone.

You really want to compare Max’ and Lewis’ mistakes this season? Because that won’t go in Lewis’ favor.

Unless it wasn’t a cockup, of course.

Come on, of course it is. It’s preceded by “what would have happened if, after the start, we had had an accident with 10 cars that resulted in injured drivers or worse” and “For the 2025 regulations, we must think about having cars that can be driven even in the rain”. He’s merely pointing out that times have changed

Settle down. He didn’t blame the drivers at all. He actually supported race control’s decision to stop the race.

Jean Todt is leaving anyway. His third term ends at the end of the year and he’s not running for a fourth.

He wasn’t blaming/criticizing drivers at all. It’s a complete misinterpretation of the writer.

Case is not closed at all. An F1 team’s nationality is based on the nationality of the Automobile Club that issues their license.

This true, no doubt, but it also helps that Senna was an incredibly charismatic person, and Schumacher was not.

Totally agree. I thought it was pretty bad, since it glosses over or outright ignores anything controversial. If they want to show the family man, and his relationship with Corinna, then it’s a bit weird to ignore the way they met. But of course they do, because that would show them in a not-so-great light.

Nah it’s the football coach.

I mean, the last three guys to come up who were ultra-competitive while being several years younger than nearly all their competition were Norris, Leclerc and Verstappen. So yeah, I think Pourchaire has superstar potential. He’s 4 1/2 years younger than Mick and really just, what, a year behind him development wise?

Ferrucci has as many superlicense points as you and I do. I think we’re safe.
