Could happen.

Nikita’s notable crashes/spins: Bahrain qualy and race. Imola FP1 spin.

Brazil 2019:

Mick did. Twice. Mick’s got more pace, that’s obvious, but he’s also had a lot more brainfart incidents, yet these are conveniently ignored because boooo Mazepin.

Exchange “Mazepin” for “Latifi” and that post still works, no?

I don’t really agree. He could’ve just sat back on his ass and live the usual ‘rich kid’ lifestyle. Instead he decided to bust his ass trying to get to F1. He’s still a little turd, but at least I can respect that.

Just this century: Alex Yoong, Yuji Ide, Gaston Mazzacane, Will Stevens, Roberto Merhi, Karun Chandhok, Sakon Yamamoto, Luca Badoer, Nicolas Kiesa, Narain Kathikeyan, Tiago Monteiro, Zsolt Baumgartner, Tarso Marques and I’m sure a few others I forgot.

The French and Monaco GP are directed by local teams, instead of F1’s usual team that does all other races. Cutting away is a recurring issue, same thing happened during the last lap of the French GP two years ago, where they cut away from an epic 4 car battle to show the leader.

Was kind of hoping this one was just a summary of all of Bradley’s F1 related posts.

He should check in for advice from Mick then, who already binned it twice.

I’m no Mercedes fan, but:

Which is what they’re doing now.

DAS was fully within the regulations for 2020. The flex wing is very much a grey area.

While his rookie season with the team was an abysmal one for both Lando and Macca

One of the reasons they are making the tracks so tight is because they can. Entry speeds are really low so they can get easily away with it, and it helps hide the fact that that the cars are really, really slow.

They aren’t changing the rules though. The maximum flex distance will be the same.

There’s a lot less variables with the current regulations than there would be with a downforce limit. That would be effectively unenforceable.

Nobody’s requested a rule change; and nobody has protested anyone else (yet).

In what way does the video show a violation of the sporting regulations exactly?

Like you mentioned, they already have this. What the FIA are worried about is that their testing procedures are outdated, and teams have found a way around them by having their wing flex increased in a non-linear way relative to the load applied.
