Ah, I see now. Read that wrong, my bad.

Not so much a vote of confidence on Ricciardo as a driver, but more on his personality. He’s not going to play second fiddle without causing a fuss. I think Ricciardo could win a title given the right situation, sure, but one such situation is not being partnered with a better, ascending driver.

Yeah, that’ll never happen. Though it would be great for Alonso to complete the Renault-McLaren-Renault-Ferrari-McLaren-Ferrari circle.

Yeah, great idea, let’s put Colton Herta next to Charles Leclerc. I wonder what will happen. At least it’d immediately put to rest any future debates on why we don’t see people moving from IndyCar to F1 anymore.

The logical conclusion is that he hasn’t gotten worse, 2014-19 has been a market correction for his value.

He seems to feel more at home there than with RB

Except that he may be the third best driver in their junior program.

I would think Ferrari would prefer a clear number two in stead of someone who can challenge Leclerc. In that case, Sainz is a much better option than Ricciardo.

Checo has three more years on his deal, and his sponsorship group / management are heavily involved at Racing Point. They were key in saving Force India and bringing new ownership in.

He already had a second chance at Ferrari. When are people going to realize that Kimi is not a top 10 driver anymore?

That’s no longer the natural progression. We have Formula E now.

Toto isn’t looking to get Ocon in the 2nd Mercedes seat. Esteban is effectively done as a Mercedes driver now. It’s Russell they’re looking at, and I actually think Valtteri is/should be a serious short-term option for Ferrari as they’re waiting to see who out of Schumacher, Shwartzman and Armstrong wil pan out.

5% that Mick ever drives for Ferrari. 40% that he’ll make it to F1.

Giovinazzi is not going to Ferrari. He’d be happy to hold on to his Alfa seat for another year. He’s not very good. Neither is Mick, by the way.

Not for Vettel’s fans.

It can be a bit wonky, but for an automated system it’s not too bad. I feel that it does its job even though it’s far from perfect.

It depends on your current safety rating. If you’re a A4.99 you have to be nearly perfect not to lose some safety rating, but if you’re a D2.5 you can gain some while getting more that half the x’s allowed.

I’ve been hearing that for 20+ years now.

Still the most popular racing series in the world, and it’s not close.

Just checked his stats and he’s done 141 official oval races on iRacing. That’s not counting all the privately hosted sessions he’s been in.
