At some point, we need to stop rationalizing away gun violence as a “cost of doing business”, and start doing something to limit their distribution. Only an idiot would say that less guns does not mean less violence.

I feel like “the wire” simply came around a bit too early, and had it aired in present times it’d be the most commercially successful show in tv history. The current climate (twitter, showrunners and networks more willing to put minorities in major roles) is more conducive to a show like that. Agree, or was the…
