In the originals it was always Tali and Garrus, so when somewhat unfairly maligned Andromeda came along Vetra ticked the perfect combination of both those boxes.

I think they are just consolidating honestly. After they bought DnD Beyond I started wondering if they had talks to buy Talespire or another digital table top. I think the big thing here is options. Our characters are getting more options, we have more options for play environment and more tools all through WotC which…
Sure there is merit in that, but some of these articles are not saying anything other then “oh my god my D&D is being violated by this and that”. This is like the 3rd article here in the past two months that vines about stuff like “omgod there will be dnd movie that’s not 5 people sitting around a table” or “omgod…
Oh, well I have 282.7 hours in Vampire Survivors.
Kyoko was created as a slave and toy for the racist misogynist villain of the story. She frees herself from a horrific slave situation, and thats AFTER subtly asking the protagonist for help. Saying she’s demonized is such a ridiculous take.
That’s basically coming from people who are comparing the official translation of this game to the fan translation of the SNES game and assuming the official translators are moral crusaders who are censoring their precious JRPGs. As usual, it’s paranoid bullshit.
You know it’s okay to examine creative works of art, right? From lots of different lenses and angles? It’s okay.
A reaction like this is like...show me on the doll where Critical Art Analysis touched you.
Personally, I like that Kotaku still has some articles that are deeper than "game good" or "game bad".
either you want games taken seriously as art or you don’t
Oh, that’s very useful to know. Now it is clear which friends are weird psychopaths!
A lot of the basis of Kreia is that she is incredibly wrong, but very convincing. She is a product of her own circumstances and in a universe where heroes are honest (From a certain point of view) and villains are deceptive that can be very compelling.
She wants you to follow her in her ideology, and its convincing for…
So yeah, haha penis funny haha, but lets focus on the important thing here.
We lost our family cat at 20, over 20 years ago. Tom was a great cat.
Not to get too in the weeds here but I think “it should be fun” is an extremely limiting and weird way of processing art, games included. It’s very obvious from the review that Ari enjoyed the game, whether or not the word “fun” popped into his brain at any point.
I was so looking forward to this game, but I don’t think I can bring myself to play it right now. We said goodbye to our cat on Friday night. Lymphoma was very aggressive and we didn’t want her to suffer anymore. I was so looking forward to playing this with her in my lap.
As a cat owner, how can I not buy this?
This was all about 3rd party games.
Thanks. Just a genre I have zero interest in so it’s interesting to hear how popular it really is.
It’s a “demo” in the same way a lot of smaller SE games have gotten demos over the last few years - which is to say it’s literally just the beginning of the retail version chopped into a separate download.
See, it feels like it fits that context much better. Just sounds wrong here.
