I always thought Kreia was a little too Ayn Rand to take seriously, and that and the unfinished nature of the game more than the bugs themselves made it hard for me to appreciate KotOR 2 as much as I wanted to, especially as a huge fan of Black Isle who wanted to see what Obsidian could do. I’ve been wanting to replay

While I think I would have preferred something more like a cat based adventure game, just being able to play as a sweet lil’ kitty cat is probably gonna help me overlook any flaws in this game. Still, I appreciate this article for tempering my expectations!

Cat!

I really like FPS games but they tend to give me motion sickness. I had to simply give up on Amnesia: The Dark Descent back in the day, and I still haven’t beaten Doom 2016 because I can only play for about 20 minutes at a time.

I, for one, am just disappointed that you aren’t Greg Kinnear!

Their Lorax movie was much the same. They very clearly do not intend their movies to be ones you think about afterward, which really says a lot about how much value they have (it’s none).

I admit, this sort of thing does not fill me with hope. I am perhaps just intransigent, but I’m still sad that the series has turned away from turn-based combat, and going “darker and edgier,” well, you know. Sometimes that really can make for a more interesting and mature story. And sometimes it just ends up feeling

I can only hope this will be as entertainingly awful as the ‘93 movie. Given that Illumination’s bread and butter is more dull blandness, I’m worried that it just won’t suck in that entertaining a fashion, but fingers crossed!

I don’t know why, but I find this style of gameplay boring. It’s a shame, because I really love the Romance of the Three Kingdoms novel, but could never get into Dynasty Warriors; I love Zelda, but couldn’t get into Hyrule Warriors; and as much as I love Three Houses, I can’t imagine I’ll have any more luck this time

Hah, that thought occurred to me as well!

Man, I would give anything for Vagabond to come back. Was that 2008 art gallery a worthy ending? I’ve heard mixed things about the “epilogue” but haven’t yet checked it out myself.

I never knew that the best Batman is gay, but that makes me incredibly happy.

This was a really good read (and, thanks to a few minutes of Googling, it taught me the phrase “NUMTOT”). Having lived outside America before, it really is shocking to return and realize just how much we neglect mass transit. Can’t wait to go back to a place that isn’t terrible and not need to even own a car anymore.

I have little to say, except that I could not agree with you more. You nailed it!

Eh, I dunno. I don’t really care much for live action TV so for me, The Simpsons is a bigger draw than most other streaming services have.

Personally a bigger Rosalina fan, but I am sure it’s a real bummer when one of your faves is excluded. Hopefully she gets included at some point.

I can only speak for myself, but I think they’re good beyond the nostalgia. I didn’t play them for the first time until the late 00s when I got them for free from Bethesda’s website. I’d already played Morrowind and Oblivion at the time.

Imagine coming to a website that posts video game reviews and claiming that no one can write about why certain games are fun.

You’re probably right, but for my money (and when it comes to technical stuff, I am an ignoramus, so fair warning) the contrast between the super realistic lighting effects and the clunky old Doom graphics is a pretty cool look. I kind of want to see a retro Doom-clone style FPS come out with ray tracing effects and

I came here just to pay tribute to Garret.
