I agree, it is a pity! And I’m glad the games exist because a lot of people clearly love them. But for some reason they just aren’t for me—which is weird because I love fantasy and I love Total War. This is going to sound completely mad, but I really just don’t think I like what the fantasy stuff does to the Total War

Kelly Marie Tran was my favorite part of that one movie she was in, and I would probably watch any movie she was in just on the basis of featuring her in it.

That made me laugh. The KMT still kinda sucks honestly (not the KMT who is the subject of this interview, this KMT is awesome)

I still like Attila better than Rome 2, but you’re certainly right that Rome 2 is more than a solid game now. I have a few issues with it, and I really think the Crisis of the Third Century DLC (I’m spacing on the name of it right now) would have fit Attila better, but it’s a damn fun game.

I don’t play MOBA type games, so I’ll have to take your word for it that the mechanics have leaned in that direction lately. But personally, I’ve found that Attila and Three Kingdoms are about on the same level as Shogun 2. I really enjoy them, corporate BS aside. I do feel like the games are somewhat a victim of

I’m honestly not wild about the Warhammer games, but I have been continuing to enjoy the historical ones. I would love to see more great historical games coming from CA though.

Is the game really bug-ridden still? I’ve gotten very lucky then, I have encountered very few problems. It makes me sad that people are so unhappy because Three Kingdoms is probably my favorite Total War game. The only thing I wish is that there’d been some more real expansions—not just new start dates but stuff like C

I never heard of this before now but I am so intrigued. I have always loved classic noir, and I am a big fan of adventure games, so this is going right on the wishlist.

I love Joanne and think it’s criminally underrated—such a good album. That said, I have to be deeply boring and say The Fame Monster.

This is so depressing. I admit I wasn’t caught up on Berserk (I am the worst at finishing manga series) but it was really good from what I’ve read, maybe about half of it. Super talented artist, clearly, and gone too soon. It’s really scary to think how little warning there often is for maladies like this.

Advertisers aren’t afraid of sex, they love sex, sex fucking SELLS...

True enough, and I admit my comment was not me at my most articulate. I more meant why they are running away from any sexual content they, themselves, aren’t using to hawk their wares.

What is with the increasing Puritanification of the internet? I mean, I know what it really is--advertisers are afraid of sex and everyone needs that sweet, sweet ad revenue--but it’s so out of control. Anyone who’s a sex worker, sex worker adjacent, or even sits in a hot tub on camera has to constantly worry about

I was hoping to be able to justify dropping $60 on games I already played dozens of times, but the PC version of the Mass Effect remasters is sounding pretty grim for those of us who prefer mouse and keyboard, and I don’t have any other up to date consoles. So maybe I’ll check out Resident Evil Village? Or maybe just

That’s weird, it’s been a few years since I played, but I definitely don’t remember his short scene as being abusive in ME2. I was probably not thinking critically back then, to be honest.

Oh, you know it!

Poor Kaiden. I actually don’t dislike him as a character at all, I think he’s a bit bland but in a likeable and reliable way. As opposed to Ashley, who’s bland in an always-incorrect space-racist way.

Fuck Thane, then marry Thane, then kill Thane humanely so his suffering can end.

Every time he’s in a movie, I’m happy to see him there. In Blade Runner 2049, he had one scene and damn near stole the show from the likes of Ryan Gosling and Harrison Ford. With, again, one scene. At this point, even when he’s in a total piece of crap movie I’m glad because hey, at least he’s getting paid, good for

Cancel culture appears to be a myth most of the time for powerful white men, but alas, not if you’re a person from a marginalized group with a moderate sized platform.
