Finally, the successor to Desert Bus that we’ve all been waiting for.

Maybe an even better experience... I adored RDR1, and I know RDR2 is a whole different thing but I couldn’t help but feel sort of... dispassionate and tensionless during RDR2 since it didn’t really expound on the story in a way that I found tremendously interesting.
Great info, though I’d bet that google allowing control of data has less to do with some sort of magnanimity and more to do with having to do the work anyway because of the GDPR.
Same for both my launch joycon and the Japanese Splatoon colorway set I bought after. Not sure how I got so lucky. That being said, my couch is fairly far from my TV and I absolutely lose button inputs if I hold the joycon low enough in my lap that my leg blocks LOS with the console.
Can confirm, I did literally this earlier this year. I can also confirm that AntiChamber is still a really good game. I feel super lucky to have gotten to chat with Alexander Bruce at PAX back in the pink suit days, I hope he’s doing well.
And/or if they could emulate Pac-Man CE’s whole “Reworking the mechanics of play in a game design that is so iconic that it is pretty much axiomatic in genuinely new and novel ways such that it reflects the mastery of craft of the developer over the intervening time since the original came out”. And also give it a…
Whoa, that’s some harrowing shit. I have a quick tangential question for you. My kid is not an upset puker per se, but we have had a couple bouts of tummy sickness lately and I am constantly baffled at my kid’s default barfing technique. Rather than bending over, my kid always just pitches their head back and sort of…
I might as well just copy paste this every time bidet deals come up, but here are some pro-tips for folks looking to take the plunge:
1) Consult everyone in your home about necessary features. Something that seems noncritical to you could be a huge plus for a family member.

Might be because I bought one right when they introduced this model, but they may also send you a “free gift” of a tripod for it too. The message speaks in hushed tones about how this is our little secret, and they sure would appreciate a review, buuuuuut as long as you don’t mind them bugging you a few times about…

Only tangentially related, but a good opportunity to share something nice: SteadyCraftin, one of the few genuinely lovely things on youtube, has Pendelton Ward as a patron and every once in a while a very cute letter loaded with little doodles will pop up on mailbag videos. Unfortunately it seems like the Crafsman may…
True, and yet it feels like the one I was born to write.
CATASS AND I DEMAND THE CHIEF QUEEF BRIEF!
I’m with you in your frustrations, but my gut says that the bajillion parents buying a first console for their kids/slow adopters will pretty radically outnumber the folks who are frustrated because their second Switch is a pain in the ass to use.
Ha, I worked at LivingSocial (Which is now owned by Groupon) during the first few Costco deals. Jesus it was so much work to make those happen. Fond memories of the good ol’ giant frozen pot pie + a metric tonne of free toilet paper that came with the earlier instances of this deal.

Side note for people entering parenthood: There’s definitely a sweet spot in the early goings (let’s say the 2-8 month old range) where you’ve gotten the baby needs routine down to a science before the kiddo can really haul ass around the house. I got so much gaming time in by just offering to cover feeding/changing…
Ooo! Sounds a lot like Sunshine Sento Sake but way less... weirdly depressing? Regardless, thanks for the recommendation, I’ll have to check it out!
Thanks for the review Gita, I can’t wait to play it with my spouse!
This entire thread gives me life in the context of the giant “how will I decide when I’m satisfied” meme surrounding Her Story. The ambiguity is arguably the point of the game. Kind of like The Dictionary of the Khazars now that I think about it.
Interesting! I went down an entire rabbit hole on, like, the academic definition of digital provenance which it turns out (somewhat obviously) is a whole thing.
Wow, only half of the clips from the first playthrough... Not nearly enough to decide whether you’re satisfied.
