Holy shit, did not expect to see Walter come up in this review, he’s a regular hometown hero around these parts (Just wrapped up a 4 week class he put on at the arts center in Arvada and looking forward to the next one he’ doing in January). He’s also the perfect person to pull a quote from for this game.

And you put

For sure, I have one actually and love it, it definitely enables a lot more play, this is more a “wow games are just impossibly huge and generous this year” to the degree that even being able to steal away moments here and there doesn’t put a dent in all the ones I have a passing interest in playing. It’s ultimately a

I still have Ryan Davis in my street passes... RIP and RIP.

I am turning 39 in two weeks, have a full time job, and a 6 year old. This year has been a procession of phenomenally generous games that immediately turn me into a ball of anxiety and shit because I just don’t have time to play them. I could damn near cry hearing that this game has manageable scope.

Weird how it isn’t considered a massive career-ending failure when you are the CEO of of a company that made one of the most ubiquitous and profitable games ever for multiple years and yet you still end up axing large swathes of your employees to cut costs.

Love that the “experts” are just giving us a list of things this _could_ do. I’d assume they’d know.

Exactly, whenever I see a headline involving Atari all I can think about is speaker hats and how it should say “the holding company currently Weekend at Bernies-ing the name of Atari to dupe gen x-ers into buying stuff.”

Man I’ve liked a lot of L&M’s creative output in the past but after hearing how folks felt working on that movie, I am giving a massive side eye when the boss man says that employees were just so exuberant about the work that they just couldn’t help themselves from doing even more of it.

I don’t disagree, but I have a vague gut feeling that because it hits relatively more often or marginally harder it feels more disappointing than 99% of sketch comedy which has orders of magnitude more volume and the same amount of hits _at best_.

It’s $511, $150 is the deposit.

Considering what I see places like First4Figures charge... this honestly seems credulity-strainingly cheap (shipping excepted of course).

Edit: It is, pretty sure the true price is $511, $150 is just the deposit.

This show is so fucking good, I am overjoyed they got a chance to keep it going. I don’t reckon nearly enough people are watching it since I see so little chatter about it but it is absolutely worth your time. What started as a boobful action B tier cable prestige TV show started handily kicking the shit out of pretty

This nails every single feature anyone would want... from the decade plus ago when it was first rumored, and it does it a decade plus after pretty much any relatively hard core VR-interested person has gotten the chance to be exposed to commercial VR in a way that highlights the vast expanse between what people

I saw What Women Wants AND Wild Hogs on two different terrible dates in high school and college respectively... I would pay money to be able to forget them.

I dunno, there were absolutely weeks around ages 3 or 4 where my kid was regularly eating more than I did at most meals, and I am not a particularly light eater.

Good to know, thanks! You’d think I’d know this shit because a member of my family developed nuclear weapons in the 50s AND I have a degree in chemistry but evidently I never listened... That being said it sinks for less than a second before detonating so... Eh? Anyway thanks for all the good info!

Random notes since I saw it last night:
1. Don’t think submerging a neutron bomb would do a whole lot... The news anchor says there were no casualties, then have the idea super backwards, neutron bombs were designed more to irradiate people than destroy infrastructure. I’m not into the franchise for realism but really

Zero judgement but surely runners have been banging against this since the leak, right? And just withheld til release day out of an abundance of caution/propriety.

My 6 year old is predominantly a driving game person (they have loved cars since they were 2 in a very concrete, “I want to know the make and model and all sorts of technical details” type of way) so we haven’t played much Mario yet and it’s weirdly conflicting that Pratt will be my kid’s first real conception of

Now playing

Point taken but here’s an interview from 13 years ago:
