Not sure if Kinja automatically strips them, but pro-tip: If you right click on a video, you can copy a link queued to a certain time... Let’s see if it works...

My saintly wife got me a Japanese Super Famicom one year as a gift pretty much exclusively for the box. It’s so beautiful!

This adds an awesome new dimension to Nick Valentine’s obsession with the stranger. I guess he was just a big rap fan in the 90s.

This is a smart idea, but I feel like Earthbound already nailed this problem by just skipping low level fights and automatically giving you the negligible xp you would've gotten from the fight.

This is sold out now. Ah well.

This is sold out now. Ah well.

I really like how your character feels nowhere big enough. Not like it’s too tiny to see clearly, but more that it gives you this ominous, foreboding feeling about your chances in this world. Like, it’s maybe a little bit of an inversion of the power fantasy, visually speaking.

Which video is that?

Huh, another game partially set in Colorado.

During my last trip to Tokyo, my wife and I won enough claw game stuff to necessitate checking a bag, which we literally never do. Didn’t break the bank or anything, just had a lot of good luck. We were there for about 6 weeks, so we had plenty of time to build up a collection.

I don’t think I could count on all my fingers and toes that number of crappy movies I’ve taken myself and my SO to that weren’t personally worth the > $18 I’ve spent on them in one go. Only asked for a refund once, when the projector died in the middle of the movie.

Man, if ever there was a movie I desperately wanted to like, and by all right should’ve, its The Revenant. Sound design: amazing. Score: really freaking good. Action sequences: harrowing. Acting: suuuper great! But certain parts of the story just totally killed it for me in a way that rarely bothers me when so many

The fact that Facebook owns an open source JavaScript library called React makes this idea seem extra ill-advised. Not sure if FB would or could pursue any action, but regardless that’s an awfully big bear to get within arm’s reach of poking.

Was it both private and unlisted? It wasn’t 100% clear from the article.

Which was unlisted and not private (or at least that point is still ambiguous). Meaning he could give the link to anyone. I think it 100% made sense for them to do that.

Bounties are a nice idea, but I think the reporter would probably need to use a little more formality in the process, which Nintendo might not even have in place.

Good on him for making good for everyone!

Gotcha... So it’s just the confluence of dates that you want to bring up? Sorry, a few of your posts read a bit like marketing copy which skeezes me out horribly.

I’m a little baffled about why people are surprised by this. I don’t personally think it’s a meaningful metric, but if value proposition is the sticking point Blow says that there are tens of hours worth of game in there (40-70 I think?) and I’d tend to believe him. Seems like a totally reasonable price for a long

Sooo basically you’re hitching your wagon to a popular article to boost views?

This is super inside baseball, but I was curious why the review modules (past and the new one) were always images instead of markup. I’d imagine that it might just end up being easier between compatibility and making productions’ lives easier, but I’m still curious nonetheless.
