Nicotine is preeeetty toxic. Dunno how much is in a can, but that’s pretty spectacularly dumb.
Reminds me of this glorious USB lighter commercial I saw during my last trip to Japan.
Just Japanese TV over the last few weeks. It was a whole animated sequence that was pretty surreal. I was only able to catch the last few seconds...
Holy crap, I have not seen the name Dan Birlew in a looong time. He wrote some pretty spectacular (at least to my teenage brain) plot analysis of Silent Hill 2 on Gamefaqs back in the day.
Not sure if this is my memory playing tricks on me, but I feel like the cutscenes in that game adhered to the visual language of film better than pretty much any other game I’ve ever played. Weirdly, Limbo is the only other game I can think of that felt so intrinsically filmic.
Very cool. Well in the mean time this site has translations on getting/playing the game on iOS and Android: http://kuroo10.blog.fc2.com/blog-entry-1.h…. Have fun!
Sort of. You set out toys and food and cats show up and leave you currency to buy more food and toys. Really barely a game, mostly just something you look at every once in a while to see something cute. I’m not really a cat culture person, but it’s such a charmingly Japanese game that I can’t bring myself to delete it.
Hmm. Not really a *game* per se, but I wouldn’t mind the occasional check in from Neko Atsume on my watch.
Got pretty horrendously ill after PAX South this year. Regular crud turned into an extremely unpleasant upper respiratory infection. All told about a week and a half of feeling crappy.
Irrespective of whether they can exactly nail the charm Itoi's writing brought to the series, this seems pretty spectacular in its own right.
Wow, I was a huge fan of his videos. What an absolute shame. My condolences to his friends and family.
Patrick (or anyone out there really), have you gotten to mess with the new 3DS? Saw it at PAX this weekend with the Majora demo and was totally sold on the new sweetspot correction. Can not wait for this next month.
Company databases are comprised on a daily basis. Chances are your password, for one website or another, is already available online. If you're like most people, you cycle through a few passwords, perhaps adding tiny variations on them, and apply those across the Internet.
Ack, still not used to seeing your name on the every day posts Patrick. Miss you from GB but really looking forward to the new things you'll do here.
Sounds good, but I was secretly hoping it'd be Pat Cashman.
Don't forget the upcoming Dreamcast version... Meaning I will have purchased it twice for archaic consoles and probably won't end up playing it... I need to stop collecting stuff.
I love Japanese chat show segments. Speaking of which, does anybody out there know of a good, reliable way to watch Japanese tv online? I've spent a decent chunk of time in Tokyo, and even though I only barely understand the language, I love watching the shows.
