@Brian Crecente: Having just hit my 26th year, it's quite grounding to see specialized skills that were at least a little remarkable when I was a pre-teen be rendered virtually obsolete, though I'd still give my right leg just to see what tech will be 200 years from now.

@Acunia: Seriously? How does that work, some sort of weird cap or something?

@shedao: That's a bit like asking "What's so special about being young?"

Just got a new one a few months ago for Starcraft. Man building PCs is a lot easier than when I was younger. Love my new rig though.

@♥♦ Goopplesoft ♣♠: Nonsense! The oversaturation of platforms didn't harm the game industry in the early 80s...

@ianfayak: Gotta buy em all, those games are fantastic. The value in those games is amazing, my wife still loves booting up bit.trip beat every now and again.

It's sort of terrifying that there is a non-zero chance that that flashlight might actually put money in someone's pocket.

@1969intheSunshine: Ahhhh. Well I tend to be a goody-goody in RPGs, so perhaps it's marginally less frustrating if you're not backhanding Dr. Quinn.

Could you elaborate on your feelings about hardcore mode a bit more? I was curious about it but didn't bite, I'd be willing to reconsider if it's not a total drag.

One trick pony seems a bit reductive, like saying Microsoft is a one trick pony because it does computer stuff.

Looks like this game spins a compelling yarn so hopefully all this consumer interest doesn't unravel.

Hmmm, I'm sorry you didn't dig it, but I can get on board with most of your points even though I liked it.

@SanjiX: Indeed it is, and you can unlock a whole bunch of bonus videos of him in the game.

@Lizard_King: Whoa whoa whoa, are you saying you need more than one data point to prove something?

@PoweredByHentai: Damn, you beat me to it. Sorry for the double post, not trying to steal your thunder.

Now playing

Playstation has had many beautiful commercial, but I think this one is one of the most beautiful ads I have ever seen period, though I'm pretty partial to the Halo Believe as well.

Ugh... Porcelain.
