I heard this year they're going to have to expand The Northies* to ten games.

@Lord_Data ∞: Him?
@goldentreesang: Much to my chagrin my wife can't keep off of Facebook or Yelp for more than about 15 minutes, even if she's interested in what she's watching.
I think downloadable games might be just the ticket for Schafer/Double Fine. I'm as die-hard a Schafer fan as the next guy, but I gotta admit he'd be way better in bite sized chunks. Telltale's model would be perfect I think.
@MirrorForTheSun: "Take off your glasses. Oh... wait, wait. Let down your hair. No: glasses on, hair back up. Let's just get that hair right back up."
Hmmmm... She does undergo quite the "librarian with and without glasses" transformation towards the end there.
I think "cheaper to make," while valid, totally cheapens (HA!) another point: 2D platformers can maintain visual impact significantly longer than most 3D games (Okami among others are exceptions, but they are few and far between).
20 minutes for the first 20 years, 5 minutes for the last 15 (Several of which are shitty knock offs). No wonder there was a crash.
@windupbird81: Ahahahaha! Well played sir!
@HeroOfTomorrow-the Untied States: Why climb mountains? Same deal I think.
@windupbird81: ... Wouldn't you round down?
My dream is that Scribblenauts is Narbacular Drop to Super Scribblenauts' Portal.
@lankysob: The Fleshlight is filled with wood...
@mtfmuffins: I do but it's a crappy cell photo (Still no cherries... Damn!). Here ya go.
It does my heart good to see shining examples of human decency centered around gaming. The rampant reflexive homophobia of public multiplayer chat can be a little soul deadening; it's so nice to see the alternative.
@ex_nihilo: Bah, that sounds amazing! We have some amazing dumplings here in Colorado (Lei Wongs on Federal in Denver!) but I swear we get some middle-of-the-country tax that drives the price up ridiculously.
@gerrycomo: It kinda bugs me.
@Sir Gibler: As someone who was young enough the first time around to see it but not really remember it and having seen it again recently, there's some pretty thick lenses of nostalgia over a lot of peoples' perception of the movie. The new one looks pretty awesome though.
@ding-dang: At which point it will be purchased for $5000 by a representative from... Fleshbot?!?
