Why does the lack of USB have to be a jab? There are plenty of wireless peripherals because people don't always like wires, and if they do, there are ample alternatives on the market.

@CrustyCanuck: Hmmmm. I dunno about that broad national generalization. I'd go so far as to agree that the dumbest Americans tend to be the loudest ones.
@arionfrost: I generally agree with everything you had to say there (not so much with the ad hominemy bits). It may be a matter of taste though. I didn't find a first-15-minutes-of-Up level of emotional connection with the movie, but there most definitely was one that I distinctly felt, especially upon my second time…
@AgentSmithAndWeston: I think the article has a valid and satisfying point, but by the same token I think it's terribly fun to analyze the film's self-consistency irrespective of its application to the plot or higher meaning.
@PN - goopplesoft: At least that's what I assume, or at least it's one interpretation that pretty rigidly sticks to the rules of the universe Nolan set up in the movie. Self awareness may be enough to bring you back as well, especially since Cobb has experience in limbo, but I just want with the more self-consistent…
@Yinzers Are People Too: Cobb and Saito (At least it's heavily implied), Saito lifts the gun Cobb came with after he and Cobb have their reunion.
@PN - goopplesoft: Because when they killed themselves in limbo it was a matter of waiting until the sedatives wore off in reality. That's why killing yourself in the third level lead to limbo in the first place, because they were still under sedation.
@Platypus Man: Who?
@Dr. Evil Genius: Guns of Summer: Maybe if they could manage an iPhone nip slip or upskirt....
@ddhboy: True enough, but the exciting thing (At least for me) is the extensibility and sharing stuff.
@Dr. Evil Genius: Guns of Summer: I totally agree. I should've been a little more clear in saying that what peeves me is sensationalism for sensationalism's sake. In this case it feels a bit more like a tabloid latched on to Lindsay Lohan than a tech site covering the whole field.
@max40watt: I thought Yusuf (Dileep Rao) did a pretty decent job in Inception, but otherwise people positively manhandle those things.
@beatledud: "Soon" according to the website. I ordered mine a minute or two after he announced it at the press conference and got refunded today even though it hasn't shipped yet.
I love Kevin Butler in principle, but I'm completely torn by the oozing "This Is Approved By The Internet Board of This Is What's Funny On The Internet" style of the spots. I just can't tell if it's completely bloodless or super awesome.
I had no idea about Sigourney Weaver. Dunno if I can forgive her for flipping over an auto-pipette during Avatar. I doubt there's a chemist alive who can see that scene without getting a little twitchy.
I've been a bit of a jerkoff in my comment history, but I guess this does sorta make me want to be a a bit more mindful and constructive, or at the very least try to be the delightful variety of asshole instead of the asshole variety of asshole.
@MacGyver1138: Hmmmm. I'd say the big realization at the end was worth $15, because I don't know if I'll be forgetting it any time soon. Considering how much I've blown on games that I can barely remember that made me feel and think nothing, that's a reasonable value proposition for me, your mileage may vary of course.
@satirical duck hat: Don't forget the gift cards for people reporting bugs. Good journalism ain't free!
Hmmmm. This article is awesome, but not quite awesome enough. Howsabout "NASA Burns Down Word's Forests Using Lasers"?
Not since the iPhone 4 with Hipstamatic have we seen such an overwhelming intersection of cutting edge aesthetics with major design flaws.
