I suspect that the MCRN has seen the footage & doesn't want to let on that they know it was a monster that thrashed both squads. They have no idea who controls the thing & will keep a low profile until more intel comes in.

Oh okay, I get it. I rewatched Paradigm Shift & noticed the time gap as well. Mei waved her arms in the first MCR scene & by the time the 2nd scene occurred she would've been taken by the pediatrician. Prax's memories kind of blurred together as he was coming to on the refugee ship.

That is kind of odd. Mei was supposedly off to the pediatrician's but Bobbie definitely saw someone waving in the window right before the attack. But then again there's no reason to assume it was the same dome she was looking at.

Well, I'm pulling this out of thin air, but maybe the closer you are to the antennae, the less likely your feed is to get hacked by someone. But I it's probably just for TV reasons. They needed a nice backdrop for Naomi & Drummer's conversation. And it was a pretty sweet establishing shot. Space stations are cool.

Season 1 finale:

Syfy's sync has been fixed! Check your local listings. All DVR's lock on.

As a non-book reader here are my theories on the Chaplain & his reaction towards Draper's reveal of the 7th man:

I've been mostly neutral about him but the one time he got on my nerves was inside the Fed Ex breaching pods. That monologue of his just went on for DAYS. I'm like "Okay, he's a colorful belter. I get that. ENOUGH ALREADY."

He is kind of a mustache-twirler isn't he?

I think It would've been out of character, say 5 episodes ago. But you let the events sink in & in his mind there's no choice: Another Eros or worse is unacceptable. Which means Cotazar cannot be allowed to live. It might be shortsighted, but I believe this is what's in his head. OTOH, he may not have been 100%

But we now know the Martian focus pill comes in at least two flavors!

He's a kid. In his teenage mind Dawes & Miller are on the same page.

Blarrgghh…..it's on Sy Fi's end.

I got Uverse & the last 3 minutes ( only action sequence in the show, figures ) gets out of sync. They mentioned it on reddit so it happened on the east coast, but I guess they couldn't correct it in time for the west coast. I'll have to re-DVR it on Saturday with fingers crossed.

Oh, okay. In that case, here it is:

Okay, I see what you're doing. Got it.

That's pretty much my take on it. The ships in orbit are the last to know that there's a 3rd party down there.

Literally too hot for this world.

You can argue back & forth about the motivations & agendas. I'm just glad the characters HAVE motivations & agendas. They're not the cookie-cutter character-bots you see in a lot of tv sci-fi. It's refreshing.

I thought they were busy attacking the Great Wall. They get around.
