It pains me dearly, but I agree. This is same thing that is/has happened with the German manufacturers. The take rate for the autos is so much higher.

Fuel I won’t argue. In my personal experience the running costs on my 100 have been minimal. Driveshaft greasing is really the main additional thing I do when doing a basic oil change service.
