This realllllyyy needed more stars.
Barely, but it’s totally stock (roof rack delete model). I do tend to have a ‘lighter’ foot in the 80 as well. #lifeintheslowlane
I’m excited to see a new engine option stateside. My 80 definitely gets better MPG than my 100 or 200. And while the 200 feels like a sport car now, it drink fuel like it’s going out of style.
Poooo! Hopefully you’ll get an opportunity to flog one soon.
Speaking of writing, any impressions on the new Supra?
Sorry, I feel I’m being the fun police, but let’s not encourage the Safety Third mindset. It’s fine until someone gets seriously injured or dies.
I’m sure the millions of dollars spent in crash testing and development will prove otherwise.
Ah the Camry Special.
It would have been four if I hadn’t foolishly sold my FJ40 to a buddy!
It’s on the to-do. Need to get my scangauge in to keep a better eye on temps in the meantime.
Basically the last 18mo
That’s the plan, assembling a parts list. I also plan to rotate the cats 90deg for more protection.
Still working through the docs, but so far it looks like a handful of seals, heater valve, starter, and basics. I plan to baseline the truck with new seals, PHH, misc hoses, etc. Compression was level across all cylinders and the previous owner stated that it had never been overheated. So it should be great starting…
Different sides of the same coin right?
To my disbelief, I got it from the guy for $4800. Accepted my offer in ten minutes.
Twin turbo v6 at that
I love the pink panty Lexus trail team stickers!
2005 and newer is the sweet spot. I have an 05 with 210k on it and no issues.
THIS. AT tires (particularly KO2s) would be far better. But true winter tires would be best!
