Hey, at least the auto stop/start and driver aids default to “last position” in BMWs. The traction/stability control however will automatically default to on.

Can confirm. All ‘driver aids’ with exception of ABS and Airbags can be disabled on M2, M3, M4.

The head gaskets on the FJ80s are on of their few weak areas. The fix is usually a simple replacement of the gasket and there ya go.
