Correct it does not necessitate safety. But that doesn’t change my previous statement. Yes, it would be nice if it weighed the same as a C7 Corvette at 3300#, but the M2's weight is acceptable for me. Given the compromise of nice interior, sound deadening, performance, and safety.

Deal breaker? Not at all.

Having owned the F82, the M2 will feel a bit more playful due to the shorter wheelbase. Plus there are significant cost savings for a base spec euro delivery model.
