There’s always risk and no guarantee (same for the ‘market’ as well). But fortunately you’ve done well with your previous purchases. Let’s hope you can continue with that trend. Alternative view, if you finance your vehicle for purchase, you are simply renting the money instead of the vehicle directly.

I agree that there are certain cars with a ‘flatter’ depreciation curve, but if you intend to drive the vehicle you’re going to lose value on it. Unless you buy a known ‘collectors’ or rare car and keep it stored away and never driven.
