ALA M5 design.
I agree. For "volume" production cars, you have to make them appeal to a wide audience. With low-volume production it's much easier to target a specific audience and buyer. That's why I love the M3 recipe in general, it's a track ready car that you can use everyday. A very effective jack-of-all trades.
For sure. Post any questions up here: http://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/showthr…
Indeed it was! I laughed when I saw my car was one of the few on the front page!
Clever good sir.
Lowly optioned C63 AMG, Used GTR, Used 911, or 32 $2000 Miatas?
Sakhir Orange, Exec Pack (Black), LED Upgrade, 19s, & HK, 6MT
That's me behind the wheel! Yep I agree I wasn't pushing it to the limit. Driving at a comfortable pace while keeping under the 5500rpm break in limit.
Welcome to dem ther internets.
Currently living in Denver. The M car makes landfall in a couple weeks and should be up here in a week or so after that.
Luckily they've revised the warranty since then. You're covered on track days so long as you are not "competing". No time trial events or sanctioned competitions. That said, I agree it's hard to make the case for the CCBs.
Well of course! It's a Ferrari! Haha
Haha! I'll posting my ED experience/review this weekend to Oppo. I echo much of what you've said, before anyone assumes anything, get in and drive one hard.
Perhaps so. Although I believe they've claimed the CCBs have a 100k mile+ service life?
And that's unfortunate really. We've had a bunch of new members coming to our gym lately and I hear stories that simply terrify me. Really, the best thing to do is to do a bit of research and investigate a gym prior to joining. You know the saying though, a few bad apples spoil the cart.
For you viewing AND listening pleasure:
For what it's worth you can pick up the F80 M3 for 57500 at ED MSRP. Fully optioned, yes that can be astronomically expensive.
How long did you drive it for? I believe unless you spend a minimum of two hours in a car, it's a bit hard to determine love or not.
I believe this might be incorrect:
