Saw it Monday thought it was great. Now I’m going to pay to see it tomorrow and support the box office!

Not gonna happen. Have you seen the reviews on Rotten Tomatoes? Over 6k one star reviews before it opened. Those people are nothing if not determined.

I’m seeing it tonight and I’m SO EXCITED. I unfortunately cannot wear my vintage Ghostbusters tee, because it features glow in the dark “slime” and I don’t want to be a rude nancy.

BLM is primarily an American movement born out of problems within the United States and that looks, primarily, to address the problems within the United States. The coverage it gets, primarily, is from American news organizations.

BLM movement forget the American foreign policy and foreign influences

Agree with this sentiment completely. I benefit from this struggle and I would never expect black communities to shoulder the movement forward for all people of color. But I do know that I (and other people)inherently benefit from the discussion taking place, which MIA seems to not see

I’m pretty done with her over all of this. She comes off as super disconnected and self serving. If you were in dialogue with people around you and with people supporting BLM you’d come to get it, but clearly she’s dug her heels in and only wants to concern herself with things that specifically concern her own

You’re exactly right. I’m Hispanic and I have never thought, well what about brown lives. Because I know that the issues affecting black people inherently are the same issues affecting all people of color. And I know that I’m seen as brown. Period. So calling for an acknowledgment of black lives also requires and

Same. Super over the criticisms of BLM that go “well this other issue is also bad so why doesn’t BLM care about that?!” If there’s something else you think needs attention then get your own movement, bro.

It's so horrifying that we expect BLM, a movement started in part to voice the lack of social and political power, to shoulder the burden of all of the world's ills. I get her point and she has issues that concern her perhaps more than BLM does, but she mistakenly thinks there can only be one priority. Or one issue.

It’s not a remake, it’s a reboot.

... why did Star Trek have to be remade? Why did Fright Night? Why would literally any massively popular and moderately original movie be remade? Because the movie business is, first and foremost, a business, and they want to make money.

On Monday I will be 53. I have an appointment for a goal-setting fitness regime with an incredibly hot and ripped instructor. I make that lady in the photo look like an Olympic diving champion. I’m going anyway. I fucking don’t care anymore. I want to get healthy. Please keep living your life like a diving champion.

She took the photo deliberately, and edited it deliberately, and hit send deliberately. That’s not a mistake. A mistake is when you do something by accident or without intent.

Expect a post from her about how she’s being BULLIED on social media about any minute now.

I’m so sorry that you felt that way this morning (or at all). We’re already being constantly told we’re not enough, and then someone does something heinous like this. It’s not fair.

Exactly. Exposing girls in the locker room? Chick you’re a grown ass woman.

This woman just kept A LOT of women who were insecure about their bodies from setting foot in a gym. She has been valued for her looks for so long, she probably has no idea that she made real someone’s worst nightmare. Exercising in public when you have body image issues is hard enough. Thanks for making it so much

This has impacted me way more than I thought it would. I already felt self concious in the locker room and in life and now it just confirms my greatest fear. I like kind of had a melt down when I was getting dressed this morning based on this (and just a shitty self esteem week in general). Mockery of people's looks
